Question 1

Do I have to do psychotherapy to work with ReConnect?

Accepted Answer

No. Psychotherapy is an important part of ReConnect, but it isn't required in every program. Some people come specifically for neurostimulation or other brain-based treatment. Others combine approaches, and some continue working with their own therapist while receiving other services here.

Question 2

I already have a therapist. Can I still come to ReConnect?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Having a therapist you trust doesn't make you inappropriate for ReConnect. Many clients come specifically for brain-based assessment, neurostimulation, or nervous-system support while continuing their existing therapy elsewhere.

Question 3

Does neurostimulation actually work?

Accepted Answer

Individual responses vary, and we don't promise a particular outcome from any single session or technology. What we can promise is a thorough assessment and an honest conversation about whether we think we can help you — including telling you if we don't think we're the right fit.

Question 4

Does neurostimulation hurt? Is it safe?

Accepted Answer

It shouldn't hurt. Depending on the technology, you may notice mild, temporary sensations like tingling or warmth at the stimulation site. Noninvasive neurostimulation is generally well tolerated, and our clinical team reviews your medical history before treatment to confirm it's appropriate for you.

Question 5

How many neurostimulation sessions will I need?

Accepted Answer

There's no single number that applies to everyone. Our comprehensive 12-week program includes a structured initial course, and many people benefit from additional sessions afterward. We reassess progress — including a post-QEEG when appropriate — before recommending what comes next.

Question 6

What does ReConnect cost? Do you take insurance?

Accepted Answer

ReConnect is a self-pay practice, and neurostimulation services aren't typically billed directly to insurance — though you may have out-of-network benefits worth confirming with your provider. Most HSA/FSA plans apply. NeuroReset sessions start at $178 and NeuroVitalize at $247. Because programs are individualized, the clearest next step is a free consultation call where we can walk you through current options and pricing.

Question 7

Do I have to live in Austin for neuroscience therapy?

Accepted Answer

Not for everything. Our in-person technologies require visiting the Austin center, but we also offer online programs, including Moving On, for people who want to work with the ReConnect approach remotely.

Question 8

Do you work with couples or families?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We curate programs around the specific relationship or family involved rather than treating one person as 'the problem.' The same applies to family businesses, where relational and business dynamics often overlap.
